On September 13, THE CR WAY LONGEVITY CENTER opens with a Free Sunday afternoon Celebration from 4-7 PM where people can sample some of the world’s most delicious, healthful foods and meet others who are passionate about good health and long life. The CR Way authors, Paul McGlothin and Meredith Averill, will be on hand to greet people and answer questions.
Located in Westchester County, just 28 miles north of New York City, the Center evolved from the bestselling book, The CR Way, now a way of life for millions of people who pursue optimal health. The CR Way is based on 75 years of research, showing that a low-calorie diet improves health and lengthens the lives of lab animals to as much as 150 years in human terms.
“Like the book, The Center will help people understand the science and mold m it into a lifestyle that makes their life better.” says Paul McGlothin, Executive Director of the CR Way Longevity Center. “We integrate holistic practices such as yoga and meditation with great-tasting food so that living The CR Way is fun to do.” Meredith Averill, the Center’s Program Director, emphasizes, “Classes and workshops at the CR Way Longevity Center are friendly and supportive – helping people customize a plan that fits their needs and their lifestyle.”
The CR Way Longevity Center classes will start on the first Sunday of October. CR Way followers voted on the subjects they wanted the classes to cover, such as healthy weight loss and protection against cancer.
