Gaining Weight Healthfully
When you want to gain weight, use The CR Way tracking methods described in Chapter 8, “Getting Started” to establish how much you need to eat to maintain your weight and how much you need to eat to gain ½ pound. Then one day a week, eat enough to gain just a half pound. Over time you will correct excessive weight loss easily and safely this way.
Another helpful tool for safe weight gain is moderate exercise (see Chapter 2, “Eat to Live”). This will allow you to gain weight, while guarding against clogged arteries and other harmful health consequences that sometimes occur when gaining weight.
